They find a map inside it and texture cards.
The map says follow the path and collect objects that matches the texture cards to find the ultimate treasure. The texture cards depicted different surfaces—one was rough, and the other was smooth. amd many more. Thrilled by the map and cards they all set on the Texture hunt
Each team receives texture cards with the material on the front. Stick the matching material onto the front of the card. On the back, you'll find a description and examples of that texture. There are also spare cards for you to create your own textures by adding new materials and descriptions.
According to the map their first location is the classroom.
To play the game in real life, form groups of 3 and find objects in the classroom that matches your pair of texture cards. There’s a time limit of 15 mins
Similarly, play the game in the playground and find objects that matches your new pair of texture cards within the time limit of 15 mins
Now go to a rice field, and play it with another new pair of texture cards.
Play the same at beach as well. And keep the collected objects safely.
Back to story - After collecting objects from classroom, playground, rice field beach, the kids start to go find their ultimate treasure according to the map. However, they couldn’t find anything.
Disheartened but not discouraged, they returned to their village with their collection of objects.
Their teacher greeted them with a smile and said the real treasure is the learning and the memories that you’ve made. Each object you have collected represents a new texture that you’ve discovered and that knowledge is invaluable.
The children listened thoughtfully. They looked at their collection of objects decided to use their collected items to create craft. They gathered their materials and began to make something beautiful with the textured objects they had explored.
Try making creative and fun craft with the objects you collected.
Draw the objects you collected and mention the texture beside it, whichever group does it first and correctly wins the game.
